CG Logo builder

There is one pretty original possibility in the software; You can make your own CG logo containing 2 X 20 characters. Besides using normal ascii characters, you can also make your own 8 x 5 dot graphics. The M.Play comes with some pre made logos but those are mainly ads. Now this is just a tiny neat feature but if temperatures etc. could be embedded into these custom made slides, this could also be useful.

Mediabay

Mediabay is bit like the Windows MCE. It allows you to easily browse and play music, videos and images with the remote. Media is first scanned from the HDD into program's folders allowing them to be explored pretty easily. Even if the Mediabay is by far the easiest way to control your PC with the remote, using it isn't required as the remote works straight away with other programs too.

Speedfan

Speedfan is a free hardware monitoring software which is required to show system temperatures etc. in the VFD. This program doesn't require any configuring, just make sure it is started and the values should show in the M.Play.
