Even this review isn't an actual roundup between the HD135 and HD160, it's extremely hard not to compare them. So here come the differences. First of all the HD135's software bundle and manual is from other planet compared to HD160's. Full functionality is achieved in XP with no third party programs and tricks. On the other hand HD160, thanks to its larger diameters, air circulation is better and fans are less noisy. The HD135 also misses the card reader and vibration dampeners for the HDDs. Then again HD135 has built in fan controllers and temperature sensors. Both cases definitely have their strongpoints and it's impossible to say which is better - it depends on your needs. For me the HD160 with HD135's software would be pretty much ideal.
