Installation

LGA 775
These are the parts that are needed to make a secure installation on LGA 775 motherboard. The bracket on the left goes under the motherboard, pressing against it while the top part is pressing the CPU against the top part of the motherboard. Bracket on the right goes to the base of the heatsink itself.

Ready for mounting
Bracket is attached to the base with help of four screws. This is also the easiest part of the installation.

Mounted
For me, one of the most annoying thing when installing these high performance coolers is the fact that you need to remove the motherboard from the case and install some sort of bracket or support to the backside of it. But this is something that we have to live with. Increased weight over the regular coolers will apply more force against the motherboard and CPU core and socket so having a good support for the cooler is vital.
