On the bottom there are four large slide pads, the laser sensor, a power switch and a battery hatch. The hatch not only covers the high quality AA-cell, but there's also room for the micro receiver under it. The charging cable gets plugged at the top and there's a sturdy shaped hole for it, so any stress on the cable won't be taken by the connectors itself, but rather the plastic parts.

Side by side with the Performance mouse MX. These two are actually pretty similarly shaped, with the Performance MX having even wider thumb support and being aimed more at the productivity-concerned folk. If you're looking for a rechargeable wireless mouse then you might also consider the MX.
In size comparison with some other mice we are about to review soon enough. The G700 is an average sized mouse that fits very comfortably atleast my averagely sized hand.
