Foldable LCD screen
What makes the G15 so special in my opinion is the inclusion of a foldable LCD screen. We all have seen extra keys before so the LCD is the thing that separates this beast from the others. As you can see from the animation, the screen folds nicely against the keyboard to protect the screen. Great feature if ou need to take your computer to a LAN party.

Size
Modern keyboards are getting bigger and bigger. There are all sorts of multimedia buttons and office shortcut keys around the usual key layout. Because of this, the G15 is not that much wider than a "regular" office keyboard.
Black outer ring that surrounds the keyboard is actually rubberized so that you can get a better grip from it. Not that you need anything sticky around when you are trying to move your arms/fingers as fast as possible to get the high score... Keys themselves are pretty standard in terms of feel. Perhaps bit more silent while typing but more or less like in your average keyboard.

USB ports
From the back of the keyboard one can find two USB ports. They are useful if you don't want to route the mouse cable to the back of the computer. MP3 players, memory sticks, digital cameras etc. can be also easily plugged in to the computer via these ports.

Cable canals
Logitech provides cable canals on the bottom of the keyboard. They are great if you want to route the mouse cable to the front or to the right side of the keyboard. I just wonder why they decided not to make a canal to the left side of the keyboard too? We do have left handed mouse users so it is bit odd why there is no built-in support for them as we have to the right handed users.

Riser
On the bottom are also two risers that can lift the far side of the keyboard off the table top. This affects the ergonomy of the keyboard and I'm sure that many users will find these feet useful.
