The Mouse

The Mouse
Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 looks elegant but turns out to be heavy when the batteries are inserted. If you like to lift the mouse up continuously when using it, the weight might be a bit too much. Still, the shape of the mouse is really nice and it feels good in hand. I didn't notice any lag or inaccurate movement in desktop use, and the mouse didn't come mixed up even in very fast moves. When playing first person shooters, there is a slight advantage for wired mouses in response time. If you play Counter Strike 8 hours a day, this might not be the dream mouse for you. I think normal users won't notice any delay. Laser Mouse 6000 also works nicely on many different surfaces so it is good choice for majority of users. Both mouse and keyboard works fine in promised 1,8 m range.
In addition to normal functions, the mouse has two buttons to be used for Back and Next. Wheel rotates very smoothly and without a sound, as it doesn't have any steps on it. When used to it, scrolling web pages is more pleasant and precise, than with normal stepped wheel. Wheel can be used for sideways scrolling too.
