The software
It's great that the software included is not a fancy 'gaming' styled disordered menu, but plain window with clear layout. Software has all the normal functions to set mouse speed and to check the battery levels. Most interesting feature is the ability to customize, what the shorcut keys will do. Just choose a right key from the list and hit Edit. Microsoft supplied some default events to use. I like to use my own folders for photos and music, so it's faster to open them by a shorcut key, than browsing through My Computer. As a bonus, keyboard has own button for calculator and logging off from Windows.

Basically this setup houses advanced keyboard and mouse technology in the same product. Everything works nice and smooth though no real innovations was included as expected. Keyboard is definitely the strongest part of this product. The feeling is just right, at least for me. After using this, other keyboards sound loud, clicky and cheap. Curved shape is also more natural to wrists and typing all day long shouldn't be too painful. Shortcut keys are nothing new, but they are arranged nicely. Leather wrist support crowns the product. Mouse is okay even for gaming and really sufficient for normal users. No wires on desktop is something I wouldn't trade back. |
