NH-D14

The NH-D14 is the current flag ship model of Noctua's family of CPU coolers, and it really is huge. Also this one uses two fans and six heatpipes, but the design is a more traditional double tower one than the NH-C14's horisontal approach.
Base

The base has identical finish with the NH-C14 and there's really nothing to improve here. Also again the mounting hardware comes pre-installed to remove one step from the actual installation process.
Cooler

With the fans the cooler weights over a kilogram, and even with the fans removed the heatsink alone is 900 g. Both of the towers are about the size of a more regular cooler, which really sets the performance expections high.
Fans

Oddly enough the NH-D14 uses two fans of different models, with one of them being NF-P14 and the other NF-P12. The P14 is identical to those in NH-C14, and the latter is specified at 1300 RPM with L.N.A. and U.L.N.A. speeds of 1100 and 900 RPM. The airflow is 92,3 cubic meters and noise either 19,8, 16,9 or 12,6 dB(A) depending on the use of the resistor cables.
