Roccat Isku is a relatively large keyboard. At the left side there are five macro keys that you can configure the way you want. At the middle of the top side of the keyboard are media keys. At the left side of the media keys there are REC key that you can use when you want to record a macro. At the other side of the media keys there are a key that adjusts the brightness level of the key illumination.
The wrist rest of the keyboard is a part of the keyboard’s frame so you can’t remove it. In case you didn’t like wrist rests you probably shouldn’t buy Isku.
Our review unit has an US key layout which can be seen especially from the narrow return key. Nevertheless Isku is available in many different layouts.
At the upper edges of the rear of the keyboard there are small feet that can be turned to lift the keyboard from the table. The rubber feet are located at every corner. Rubber feet are very large and sticky so the keyboard won’t slide on your table.
Cable channels go around the base. Cable channel is a simple and effective way to make your desktop cleaner. I’d like to see the same kind of cable channels in other keyboards too.
