Assembly

The installation was a straight forward process apart from the HDD-mounting. It's easy enough to get the drive(s) in place before the motherboard, but once the rest of the hardware is in place, removing the HDD-cage turns into a nightmare as the drive cage can't slide out of the 5,25" rack without hitting something. Another potential problem here is that if one installs a long graphic card to the bottom-most PCI-e slot on the MSI 790FX-GD70 there will be barely any room for the HDD cables.

With the system installed there's still plenty of space left. The HD5750's in our test bed aren't really the longest cards out there, but the case can house cards up to 12" long. With cards like the 5750, there's still room for the water cooling radiator at the bottom, but with longer cards the internal water cooling just isn't going to happen.

The rear side of the motherboard tray ended up as a total chaos, but luckily this doesn't matter at all as there's plenty of clearance to the side panel. One can also see how the CPU socket missed the mounting hole, but then again the CPU socket positioning on the 790FX-GD70 isn't quite the "usual one".
