Interested on seeing what the weather is like on the other side of the globe? One can configure his favourite sites and see instantly how the weather is developing there.

This section offers you the possibility to make a slideshow out of your vacation photos. You can browse images that you have locally on the Xbox or the shares that you might have on your network. If you have for example one centralized fileserver, the XBMC can play the images, videos and music from there.

Viewing tool lets you zoom and pan the images as you like. Good to find those small details for your granny to look more closely. :)

Most used feature on my Xbox. As the TV-out quality of the Xbox is just amazing with the Advanced Scart and the fact that it provides surround sound, I play all my movies like this. No need to have wires running from your PC to the TV set when you can have all the same functionality and more with this handy game console. As the XBMC supports the Microsoft's DVD Remote Control you can just sit back, relax and enjoy the movie. All the features are usable both with regular Xbox controller and the remote. If you don't like the default keymapping, you can alter it via a XML file.

Subtitles

Just to show you that the build-in media player does support subtitles. You can fine tune the delays via this easy to use menu. There are tons of different filter settings and post processing options to play with but you don't have to worry about them as all the default values work wonders.
