Ready to play
Just wipe the Ulti-mat clean after cooking with a piece of kitchen paper and resume gaming. Mousepad that you can see in the image above is the one we used in out grill. As you can see, no harm done. As I do have two Ulti-mats, one with the foam base and one without it, you should not try this stunt with your own mousepad that have this foam base. It could give your food items an interesting additional flavor. ;)
Conclusion
PROS CONS |
As this review wasn't that serious, I hope that you enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed doind it. As I have being using this mousepad a year now, I can say from experience that it is a really good for gaming. And if it works in gaming, it is just excellent in office work as well. It has been tested to work with many different types of mice so there should not be any compatibility problems with any optical or opto-mechanical mice. At least I haven't noticed any and have used this with several different pointing devices from Logitech and Microsoft. As it is really hard to demonstrate what mousepad is better than other, I didn't even bothered to try it. You may think that the most slippery mousepad is the best pad for gaming but you can be surprised in a negative way when actually using the pad. Semi-slippery seems to work best for me but I don't think that you can come up with a benchmark number that says; "Mousepad with a relatively slipperiness of 7.4 will be best for you". Getting the right mousepad for your own personal use needs bit of trial and error in my opinion. What is perfect for other may not work at all for your own gaming/usage habits. For what its worth, I'm not going to change my Ulti-mat for any other mousepad any time soon. Once you get used to Ulti-mat, it is hard to let go. |
