Usage and Performance
The HDD includes user manuals in multiple languages and also a backup software by Nero. HD Tune recognizes Store ’N’ Go as Samsung HM100UI (5400 rpm). The actual capacity of the HDD is about 931 GB.
Store ’N’ Go seems to be very silent. I barely can hear it even if it’s under load.
HD Tune

The results in HD Tune show that Store ’N’ Go is surprisingly fast considering that its speed is 5400 rpm. USB3 really kicks in and beats USB2.0’s performance easily. Average speed being at 76.8 MB/s it’s more than twice as high as Store 'N' Go in USB2.0-connector.
CrystalDiskMark

Also CrystalDiskMark gives same kind of results than HD Tune. Overall the performance is very good for 5400rpm 2.5” HDD. The performance is a bit better than Samsung M2’s though the difference is relatively small.
