Race Driver Grid

1920x1200 - 4xMSAA
Race Driver: Grid uses the Codemaster's own Ego engine. It is an evolution from the Neon Engine that was used on the Colin McRae DIRT.

Too close to call the winner. Both the 9800GX2 and the XFX GTX 280 beat the 8xxx generation to the floor. All cards deliver playable framerates.
PT Boats - Knights of the Sea

1920x1200 - Medium - AA off
PT Boats: Knights of the Sea is an upcoming naval action simulator situated on the WWII. It uses the latest DirectX 10 technology so it should give us a nice benchmark to test our cards against.

Bit surprisingly the 8xxx series keeps the fight up. Average framerates are reasonable close to the much more expensive 9800GX2 and GTX 280. Good news for those who doesn't have deep pockets to get the coins from for the hardware.
Crysis

1900x1200 - DX10 - Island - Very High
From the makers of the Far Cry, comes this CryENGINE 2 monster - Crysis. I believe the legend of its toughness on graphics hardware is well known.

Not that playable with any of the cards but the graph still indicates the winner. With lower resolution of 1680x1050 the both cards, 9800GX2 and GTX 280 scored 29 frames per second.
Devil May Cry 4

1920x1200 - Super High - DX10
Devil May Cry 4 Demo includes a benchmarking feature. Four different scenarios are presented with different amounts of effects and objects to handle.

No AA

C16xQ
Not much to say really. 9800GX2 took the top position when the test was executed without Anti-Aliasing. With AA things started to change but the GTX 280 was only able to creep past the champ on the Scene 3.
