Intro

The first time that I visited the Campus Party was in 2007 in Valencia, Spain. 6000 "nerds" playing computer games, talking about sciences, creating videos, music etc. I just loved the event and I got very excited when I got an invitation to come and help with the modding part of the new event in Campus Party family - The Campus Party Europe.

As the Spain starts their presidency of the EU, the Campus Party Europe celebrates this by inviting innovative and creative people from all the 27 EU member states to the event. People from areas such robotics, space, telecommunication, media and naturally modding came together and shared their views of the future to come.

In this article I try to present what was happening at the event. As I was working as part of the staff I naturally missed some of the things but hopefully you will get to see the true essense and the spark behind the CPE.
