Here I'm cutting 6 mm polycarbonate that will be used as a window for the screen.

The window goes all the way past the control panel (you can see the drawn line on the left for it). I had to device a mounting for both the screen and the acrylic and in the end, I believe I found the best solution. By making the mount like this, I can remove both the TFT panel and the acrylic window via the opening in ceiling.

TFT panel and the window installed. In this photo you can also see the panel below the marquee spot that will house the speakers. I didn't glue it so I can later upgrade the audio system if I need to.
