Putting it together

I drilled holes in the middle panel to make it lighter and to ensure free airflow between sections.

Since the construction is so simple, forces at play are so weak that I could use only glue to hold the pieces together.

Bending the side panels

The sidepanels were made out of plywood. I used three 4 mm thick panels. I cut arcs out of scrapwood, and used them with clamps and glue to bend the plywood to the shape I needed.

After the glue dried the side panels held their shape as planned.

Almost ready for surface treatment. Only minor tweaks are needed before I could put some color to it.
