Stylingwise I have to say that the product seems great. All metal (base and the mic), clean lines, single color, a heavy and sturdy base with a rubber ring at the bottom. One can easily take the microphone off by using the handy thumbscrews. Elegant, not trying too much.
Yeti is pretty wide mic so there are not many shock mounts that are usable with it. Blue offers Radius II as a perfect match with the Yeti and Yeti Pro. This kind of shock mount can help with the vibrations that can travel to your microphone via a boom stand or other kind of hard mount.
Connectors
At the bottom of the microphone, on the left, we can find the all important USB connector. You can use any USB2.0 standard cable to hook up the Yeti to a computer but for the most the included 6 feet long one should be long enough. On the right side we have a 3.5 mm socket for the headphones. This is great for users that want to monitor the captured sound live and raw, without any delays or additional signal alterations.
At the center we have the 5/8 inch mount hole. Most of the boom arms have the 3/8 inch screw so make sure you buy one that includes the needed adapter or get one separately. Below is my current setup with the Yeti mounted on a cheap Chinese boom arm that included a plastic mounting hole adapter.
