Conclusion
It's hard to really stand from the crowd on the memory stick markets, but the XtremKey manages to do so. It does this with its sleek looks, very fast transfer speeds and ofcourse by being virtually indestructible. Even if you don't plan on going to the battle zone, having a very tough thumb drive may be a good idea. It's nice to know you'll never have to worry about the drive, no matter where you keep it. The slick design does come with one major flaw, and that's opening and closing the drive. The water resistance ofcourse depends on the drive being sealed properly, and to do this one has to twist the brushed metal casing, that just doesn't offer much grip. This could have been avoided by a rougher finish or the said coin slot at the bottom of the drive. It's a shame such a flaw makes the everyday use that bit too fiddly. |
