The Imperator is a fairly small and short mouse, but follows Razer's distinctive styling in many areas. The top is coated with slightly rubber-like material for better grip, while the sides are made from shiny black plastic. From this angle one can also see the exotic sliding thumb keys that make sure you always have the keys in the right spot. This is a really nice feature as I for one have found the thumb buttons to often be slightly off.
Bottom reveals the sliding mechanism for the thumb keys, four sliding pads, the 5600 DPI laser sensor and also a profile button for changing the pre-programmed profile in flight. The two meters long cable is covered in fabric sleeve, which is very flexible and gives a nice quality feel to the product.
