As seen in the specs, the Thermaltake Element Q is 220 mm wide, 130 mm high and 330 mm deep so it's a quite compact case. The overall color of the case is black and it has a red decoration in the front panel.

In the front there is one 5.25" and one 3.5" external bays for an optical and a floppy drive if needed. Below the reset button there is a red HDD activity led and a blue power led below the power button. Both of the leds are nicely dim and don't light the whole room, which is a good thing. The design is nicely symmetric in my opinion.

Below the 3.5" bay there is a push-to-open hatch that covers the front ports. I think that this (hidden under the hatch) could have been a good place for the power and reset buttons as you don't really need them so often. Atleast I don't.

This is the left side of the case and it has some air holes and I figured out that the mystery marking on each of the corners are for the rubber feet that are included in the bundle. The rubber feet rise the case a little bit off the table so air can go in from the side holes. It isn't written anywhere in the installation manual that you could use this on it's side but it might even be better considering the air flow as the side air holes are identical on both sides. Cold air could go in from the bottom and then the hot air would rise up and get away from the top.

The right side of the case has identical air holes compared to the left side. No extra markings on this side.

Nothing special on the back of the case. Some air holes near the internal HDD place and screws that hold the PSU and the cover in place.

The bottom has the same markings for the rubber feet as the left side of the case. The surface is painted black too so it looks good even if it's used on it's side. The front cover has an air hole on the bottom.
