QR Ladybird V2

Speaking of the battery, the RTF package comes with only one battery pack. I would have hoped to get at least two batteries but in the end, Ladybird spare parts are dirt cheap so it should not be a deal breaker.

The charger plugs in to an USB port. There are two connectors for the battery, so you can charge two batteries at the same time. Red indicator leds for each battery indicates when the charging is finished.

There are a total of eight props supplied with the package. Four props are already installed on the Ladybird and the other four are spares. When replacing a prop, please note that the color is not the only difference on these. With quadcopters, you need two kinds of propellers. Others turn in clockwise and others counter clockwise direction so select the right kind of prop for the motor.

Props are kept in place with friction. That is a good thing as the prop will simply detach from the motor if the crash is too hard. Spare propellers are cheap but this feature is just a life saver.

One of the best features of the new Ladybird are the new rubber cups on the landing stands. These are just perfect when flying indoors as the model does not slide on the floor when landing. It also removes the noise of hard plastic hitting the floor.
