Many cases these days have the additional IO connectors situated on top. This location is handy especially with larger cases that are located on the floor. ICS 8200 have two USB2.0 ports, Firewire, headphone and microphone plugs under a small hatch. It is nice to have something that can cover the connector when they are not in use but it is quite annoying the operate as the hatch doesn't stay open on its on. You have to keep it open while pluggin in devices, usually takin both hands to operate.

Connectors

Audio connector is split to several separate pins. This way you should be able to use it with several differerent motherboards as there is no real standard for auxliary audio pinheads. Firewire and USB block are more standard so they all have one dedicated block each. Then we have the usual power, reset and indicator led connectors.

Additionally this case offer two temperature probes. One used to measure temperature of the CPU cooler and other for example to measure the temperature of the GFX Card. Values of these temperature probes can be seen on the AirCon control panel at the front of the case.

Simple idea and it actually works very well. I've seen a lot of different tool-free designs and I have to say that this is one of the most functional and easiest to use.
